Intelliject recognized by local business community
Richmond, VA – The Virginia BioTechnology Research Park announced
today that tenant company Intelliject, LLC, was recognized as one of
the region’s most promising businesses during a recent reception
at Main Street Station in downtown Richmond.
The purpose of the event was to identify representative companies that
could create jobs and bring innovation to the region. During the reception,
the host organizations revealed a listing of 12 firms that were selected
as “Greater Richmond’s Companies to Watch.” Among those
honored was Intelliject, a medical device company that has developed
a miniaturized, auto-injecting drug-delivery system.
“We are extremely honored to be recognized by the local business
community,” said Eric Edwards, vice president of business development

contribute to the growth of the local economy, as well as the continued
growth of the region’s life sciences industry.”
The program was led by the Venture Forum, a local networking group for
aspiring entrepreneurs and investors. Partners in the effort included
the Greater Richmond Partnership, Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce,
Greater Richmond Technology Council, Work Magazine and Richmond.com.
