BioTech Park participates in BIO2005
Philadelphia, PA - The Virginia BioTechnology Research Park joined more than 16,900 scientists, entrepreneurs, economic developers and industry professionals from around the world at the Biotechnology Industry Organization's 2005 Annual International Convention held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. The Park partnered with the Greater Richmond Partnership and the counties of Henrico, Hanover and Chesterfield in displaying an exhibit and reinforcing the brand of "Greater Richmond, Virginia: The New East Coast Center for Bioscience." The conference attracted representatives from 61 countries, 49 U.S. states (plus the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico) and 10 Canadian provinces.
