Park tenants learn about finding capital in 2005

W. Arthur Washburn, CIMA and Craig T. Forbes, CIMA of Alexander Key Investments, and Benjamin L. Palleiko of SunTrust Robinson Humphrey led October’s luncheon.

RICHMOND, Va. - Many early-stage biotechnology companies are developing innovative technologies that are considered "high-risk" investments, making it difficult for them to obtain the necessary funding. Craig T. Forbes, CIMA and W. Arthur Washburn, CIMA of Alexander Key Investments, and Benjamin L. Palleiko of SunTrust Robinson Humphrey educated a group of local entrepreneurs, scientists and industry affiliates about bridging the financial gap between the research lab and the marketplace at October's "Brown Bag" luncheon. The luncheon, organized by the Virginia Biosciences Development Center, was sponsored by Alexander Key Investments.
