RICHMOND, Va. – Entrepreneurs in the life sciences
industries must endure many trials and tribulations. James
J. Tuite, CEO of ASD Biosystems, told a group of local entrepreneurs,
scientists and industry affiliates at May’s “Brown
Bag” luncheon of his entrepreneurial experiences in
developing his company’s portable, semi-automated workstations
to collect and process environmental samples for biological
threat agent analysis. The luncheon, organized by the Virginia
Biosciences Development Center, was sponsored by PerkinElmer.
