Park president honors president of J. Sargeant Reynolds
Robert T. Skunda, president and CEO of the Virginia Biotechnology
Research Park, (left) and Henrico County Manager and Park
Board Member Virgil Hazlet (right) were among the dignitaries
who participated in the official presidential inauguration
today of Dr. Gary L. Rhodes, the third president of J. Sargeant
Reynolds Community College. The event was held at the Greater
Richmond Convention Center. Dr. Rhodes (center) has been serving
as president of J. Sargeant Reynolds, the third largest community
college in Virginia, since Oct. 15, 2002. The college enrolls
more than 18,000 students on three campuses in the Greater
Richmond area.
