The 34-acre downtown campus of the Virginia BioTechnology
Research Park has nine buildings totaling more
than 1.2 million square feet of research, laboratory and
office space for a diverse tenant mix of companies, research
institutes, government laboratories and nonprofit organizations.
The Park also has additional space designated for development
by new and expanding biosciences companies.
The Park is conveniently located in downtown Richmond next
to the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center and
just a 10-minute drive from VCU’s Academic Campus, with
facilities that include the $43 million School of Engineering
and the $28 million Eugene P. and Lois E. Trani Center for
Life Sciences.
It also is adjacent to the downtown campus of J. Sargeant
Reynolds Community College, offering companies the opportunity
to develop customized training programs for their employees.
The new, 700,000-square-foot Greater Richmond Convention Center
and Richmond Coliseum are nearby.

And the Virginia BioTechnology Research Park has options
beyond downtown. Expansion space is available on the BioTech
Park’s two satellite campuses in neighboring Henrico
and Chesterfield counties.
