Did you know that Pfizer has a global Research and Development Center in Richmond, just two miles north of the Bio+Tech Park?   

Pfizer Consumer Healthcare is among the largest over-the-counter (OTC) health care companies in the world with a global footprint in more than 90 countries.  PCH develops, manufactures and markets leading non-prescription medicines, vitamins and nutritional products in Pain Management, Dietary Supplements, Gastrointestinal, Respiratory and Personal Care, including Centrum (the world's #1 multivitamin), Caltrate (the world's #1 calcium supplement) and Advil (the world's #1 ibuprofen analgesic brand). 

Pfizer’s Global Center for R&D for Consumer Healthcare in Richmond is home to several hundred scientists, innovators, designers and technicians, and they work on everything from consumer research, to produce ideation, development and testing, 3-D printing, analytic and synthetic chemistry, and a cGMP pilot scale facility.  The site serves as the hub of a global innovation network for Pfizer Consumer Healthcare (PCH).
